This is a list of all the books that have corresponding Reading Counts Tests.
Use this site to check if a specific title is Reading counts
Requirements-
Students need to have the their Reading Counts finished by the deadlines given.
5th Grade- Miss Sperling's Reading Class- 100 points
Ms. Turner's Reading Class- 60 points
Miss D. Smith's Reading Class- 50 points
Mrs. Murphy-Baker's Reading Class- 30 points
*All 5th grade students must meet their goal by May 25, 2012
4th Grade- Ms. Snyder's Reading Class- as many points as possible
Mrs. Lynch's Reading Class- as many points as possible
Mrs. Rodriguez's Reading Class- as many points as possible
Mrs. Richardson's Reading Class- as many points as possible
* All fourth grade students must meet their goal by May 15, 2012
3rd Grade- - Mrs. Jackson's Reading Classes- 25 points
Mrs. Olsen's Reading Class- check with your child
Mrs. Owen's Reading Classes- 35 points
These 3rd grade students must meet their goal by May 25, 2012
Mrs. Johnson's Reading Classes- 30 points (5th and higher books only)

2nd Grade- 20 points

May 4- Last Day of Kindergarten checkout
May 11- All Kindergarten books due
May 11- Last Day of grades 1-5 check out
May 14-18- Kindergarten overdue notices sent home
May 18- All grade 1-5 Books Due
May 18- Last Day of Teacher Check out
May 21-25- INVENTORY MEDIA CLOSED
May 25- Last Day for Reading Counts
May 21-25- Over due notices sent home with grades 1-5
May 29-31- 2nd overdue notices sent home all grades
Summer Reading List for Grades 3-5
Below is a list of the Sunshine State Readers for the 2012-2013 school year. Read as many as you can this summer. After you read the story write a summary of the book. A summary tells what happened in the story. Write the summary in your own words... Do Not Copy From the Book. The summary should be no longer than a page and no shorter than 10 sentences. Bring the summaries to Mrs. Oskowis in August for Sunshine State Credit.

Below is a list of the Florida Reading Association Nominees for the 2012-2013 school year. Read as many as you can this summer, after you read the story talk about the book with your parents. Have your parents sign next to the book title that you read the book alone or with your parents. Come back in August ready to talk about these books. Bring the list to Mrs. Oskowis at the beginning of the school year and get a prize.
