Reading Counts...Your child is required to read.  Students are expected to read at least 20 minutes per day and record the number of minutes in their agenda book. Parents are asked to verify these minutes by initialing daily in the agenda book. Points are posted on the spine of each book in our Media Center. Points are earned once a child reads and passes the corresponding RC Test. The tests will count toward the student’s reading grade. Your child must read books at or above 5.0 reading level with at least one book on a 6.0 reading level. A student may not take the same test more than two times. Students are expected to earn at least 30 Reading Counts points by May 11, 2012. Those who meet this goal will be rewarded with an RC celebration!
