Four and a half days until Christmas break! We be started
mulitplication in math last week. Have you gotten flash cards for
stocking stuffers? The key here is memorize, memorize, memorize!
I hope you read the article I copied and attached to the homework caledar
last week. I will be copying the multiplication table on the back of
the calendar for several weeks. Nothing takes the place of memorizing
the basic facts. It wouldn't hurt to brush up on addition and
subtraction, too. We will be drilling in class. We had a timed test
last week and most of the children finished almost 100 problems is under
ten minutes.
Please continue encouraging your children to read and listen
to them read aloud.
