Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a great holiday and no one
got stranded anywhere. I had a quiet Christmas right here in Panama
City; I've had enough adventures on the road the past two years. I do
want to thank all of your for your generosity toward me. It is greatly
appreciated. A big thank you also goes to the mothers who provided
a great party for us.
Now it is time to get back to work. Yes, and it's a time to review
and show off what has been learned. Mid-term exams in math and reading
will be given this week. That is why the math homework is from the book,
to reinforce what has been reviewed in class. We will also be reviewing
reading focus skills and robust vocabulary from the reading book.
I hope everyone memorized their multiplication facts like I asked.
Did anyone read any good books?
Please continue encouraging your children to read and listen
to them read aloud. And drill on those math facts!
