In third grade we have started chapter 10, The Church Prays. The children
will be learning about prayer with others and alone. They will be learning
about the Lord's Prayer the greatest example of prayer for the church. The
liturgy, the official public prayer of the church, and the liturgy of the
hours. They will also be learnig about the many different kinds of prayer
and about pilgrimages. The test for this chapter will be on Wednesday
January 13 and I will send the review home on Tuesday the 12th.
In fourth grade we have started chapter 10 The Second Commandment. We will
learn about the psalms the songs of praise to honor God, reverence for God's
holy name, and respect and honor for sacred places. The test for this
chapter will be on Wednesday January 13 and I will send home a review on the
12th.
