This is my 13th year at St. John school and my 16th year in the St.
John community. I am a native of Virginia growing up in the beach town of
Virginia Beach. I have three children, one granddaughter, and a wonderful
husband who brightens my life every day. I am blessed to be able to teach both
art and religion here at St. John.
This is my third year of teaching religion to third and fourth grade
student's but I have been a catechist for over 20 years. Sharing the gift of
faith with children has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
This is my 13th year of teaching art. Creativity is a gift God gives to each
of us. My job is to plant seeds of creativity and imagination with the use of
many different techniques with the children and then to nurture and guide them
while they grow and bloom into strong and confident artists. I look forward to
working with the children each and every day as each day is a fun adventure,
and exploration into my favorite world, the world of creativity.
