Parent Information for PowerSchool
From the school's webpage (www.stjohncatholicschool.com) click on the
PowerSchool link on the left side.
This will bring you to the login screen where you will need to enter your
Username and Password.
Be careful, it is sometimes easy to mistake a number for a letter or vise
versa. Passwords change quarterly and are printed on your child's report
card. If you have more than one child at St. Johns each will have a
different username and password.
Once you have logged in, you will find a row of icons across the top of the
page. You can click on these icons to see different things.
Grades and Attendance will show you your child's current grades and absences
and tardies. You may click on any teacher's name to send them an email.
There is a legend at the bottom of this page which explains attendance and
citizenship codes.
Under grades history, you will be able to see term grades for the current
year for your child.
Under Email Notifications you will be able to sign up for email
notifications. You have the option to choose what you would like to receive,
how often you would like to receive notification, and to which email address
you wish notification to be sent.
You can view teacher comments if you click on the teacher comments icon.
These sections are the main web pages that parents like to visit. There are
other icons you may click, but they are not generally updated very often (if
at all). However, feel free to explore and use at your convenience.
