Make-Your-Own-Pizza Day: Parents, please send in enough dough, sauce and cheese for YOUR own child to make a mini pizza or personal pizza. I will purchase the toppings!
Dress-Down Day: Children do not need to wear their uniforms. No slippers or flip-flops.
Teach-a-Topic Day: Students will get 20-30 minutes of the ‘lime-light’! They can teach the class anything they are passionate about. Some suggestions: a previously learned lesson from their science book, open court book, or math; a topic we have not learned yet; more specific details about an animal, sport, music, language, food, culture, island, art idea, etc.; a particular game. Props are not necessary BUT do aid in the child's ‘lesson’. It’s all in good FUN!
Pajama Day: Child can come dressed in pajamas, (no slippers or flip-flops). They may even bring a pillow and that ‘special something’ if they’d like.
Game Day: Child can bring in any game that can be played with two or more players. No DS’s.
Wacky Wednesday Day: Children can wear their clothes in any wacky way. They can wear clothes that do not match. They can wear their clothes inside out or backwards or reversed order - for example: a regular shirt on the inside and undershirt on the outside. They can wear two different sneakers, unmatched socks, etc... The wackier the better!
T-Shirt Day: Parents, please send in a PRE-WASHED WHITE-ONLY Regular T-SHIRT. NOT an undershirt! A T-shirt that will fit now and into the near future.
Movie Day: Children may bring in a PG movie that they may like to watch. Any movie not viewed on this day, may be returned the following week to be seen on Tuesday or Wednesday.
