How do I find out how my child is doing?

The best way is to reach me through e-mail. I will be happy to address
personal concerns through email, phone conferences, or in person. However,
with the number of students we have, it is not feasible to receive weekly
updates. Please contact me if you have a certain concern.

What does my child need for class?

Please refer to the "supply list" page. A link is available from the
homepage.

Do you offer extra credit work?

Extra credit work is available to students who are looking to improve their
grade. At no point will extra credit work deduct points from a student's
grade.

What is the best way to reach you? When is the best time?

The best way to get ahold of me is through email, anytime throughout the
school day. I will respond to emails within that school day, if possible. I
understand, however, that not everyone has access to a computer and
internet. I can be reached at the school, by phone, between 9:15 and 11:00am
and again after school from 2:15 until 3:00. Conferences in person are
usually scheduled during planning time, from 9:15-11:00am.

During the summer I can be reached by email. Please see the SLA website for
the link to my email.

What if my child is missing an assignment?

Homework is due the next day unless otherwise stated. One day late will
result in a 50% deduction from the students grade for that assignment. After
one day, assignments will not be accepted.
