Does my child have homework?

YES, YES, YES! There is to much to learn and not enough hours of
instruction. Your child will receive Homework daily but may
sometimes have class time to work on it. In addition to
practicing Spelling and Reading everyday, your child will also
have other assignments which will be posted on our website and on
the classroom board. The TeenBiz computer program is a mandatory
assignment that must be completed twice per week. Your child
should have their homework assignments written in their agenda
everyday.

Why is it necessary for me to check my child's agenda everyday?

This is a way for parent and teacher to remain in constant
communication. By doing this, you always know what's going on in
class with your child and I always know you've been notified.
Even though homework and Spelling/Vocabulary words are updated
regularly, it is not a requirement for me to have. Your child
will be responsible for knowing his/her homework assignments
before leaving school.
