What if my child is absent from school?

You are to keep up with the class work by visiting the class
website and by staying in touch with a classmate that can update
you on any news not posted on the website.

If the absence is excused, you must send in a signed note
explaining why the student was absent. Following, the student
will receive a folder with make-up work and you are to help
him/her with the class practice work. The assignments for
grading, he/she must complete on his/her own. When the work is
finished (within a day or two), you must return the folder to the
teacher for grading.

If the absence was not excused, you are responsible to teach the
student the skills missed. Make-up work will be given and it must
be returend within a day or two. If any announced graded work or
test was given on that day, the student will receive an F on the
gradebook.
