 Special School Announcements:
  • PTA Membership: PLEASE JOIN!! They always help out the students and teachers and they need our support. The first class with 100% participation will receive a free pizza party. Yummy!!
  • Agenda: Each student was given an agenda and the cost is only $5.00.
  • Box Tops: Our school is collecting "box tops." The class(es) that collect the most will receive a prize.
  • Portfolio Binders: Each was given a portfolio binder for their assignments. The cost of each binder is $5.00.
  • School Spirit Shirts: The cost of each shirt is either $10.00 (PTA member) or $12.00.
  • Science Boards: PTA is selling the science fair project boards for $6.00.
  • Moms and Muffins: PTA will be sponsoring it. M and M will be held on November 20th. 

    • Special Class Announcements:

  • VMathLive: I registered students for vmathlive. It helps students with their math skills and helps them reinforce and challenge their abilities. Please e-mail me if you need their user name and passwords.
  • Morning and Afternoon Tutoring: I will personally help my students before school starts (7:45-8:15) and Thursdays after school (3:20-4:00) with their math skills.
  • After School Tutoring: Starts November 2nd. Notices have gone home with certain students.
  • Science Fair: Science fair projects are going to be due December 1st. Please do not wait until the last minute to complete your investigation. Students in my science class already had the first part due 10/26. The forms will be given back with a letter grade and needed corrections. Please keep up and make the needed corrections so that your science board will look GREAT!! 
  • SuccessMaker: Students will start SuccessMaker starting 10/20. They are to log in twice a day (reading and math) and complete a session each day. It is to be done in their reading, math, and or computer class time.
  • Needed School Supplies: Some students are not coming to school with their materials. Please make sure that they bring their school supplies...especially pencils. Over 200 pencils have been used and they are no where to be found. YIKES!!
  • Book Drive: Our 2nd annual Seahawk book drive will be held from November 23 to December 16th. These books will help build classroom libraries. Any and all books will help out.
