For new friends in a story book.
Books are your window to the World. You are able to travel anywhere in
this world and beyond in the covers of a book. There is no limit to what you
can experience while reading. It's an entertainment you can take with you
anywhere, any time. The only limits you have are in your own mind so join me
on a space ship to the stars or on a submarine to the depths of the ocean.
Find out what life was like a hundred years ago or help tame the Old Wild
West. Explore the seas for new lands or solve a mystery in jolly Old
England.
Ride down the river on a raft or river boat or come with me to search for
gold, diamonds or ancient peoples and culture.
This year, students will be able to order books from the Scholastic
Book
Club. *** I will be sending out a monthly book club newsletter where your
child can select books to purchase. I like to give them this opportunity,
however, as these books are both educational and inexpensive (most books are
priced below retail). Students are not required to order books.
If your child wishes to order books, I ask that you please follow the
guidelines listed below. This makes it much simpler for me to order them
without error. Thank you!
Book Order Instructions:
****Please do NOT send cash! Only checks are accepted (no exceptions).
****Please make checks payable directly to the book club "Scholastic". Do
NOT make checks out to me, nor to the school.
****Please put order forms and checks in an envelope. Write the student's
name on the outside of the envelope.

Visit the Scholastic Book Club site and order your child's books online.

the page. The books will be delivered to our classroom along with the other
