sending a note with your child, or by calling the school.

There will be a spelling, vocabulary, reading, and math test on a weekly 
basis.

Do I have to send a note to school after my child has been absent?

Absences will only be marked excused if the parent notifies the teacher in 
writing of the cause.  This may be done before the absence occurs or 
immediately following the absence.
