What is Beyond the Bell?

BTB is Trinity's in-house after school enrichment program. It is
a service offered specifically for--and open only to--Trinity
students of all grade levels from 2:45 - 6:00 PM every full day
that school is in session.

Who staffs the program?

The program staff are carefully screened according to Diocesan
policies. Counselors are fingerprinted, put through a background
check, and must take the Diocesan Sexual Abuse Prevention class.
In addition, they are a highly motivated and dedicated group of
Christians, with a living an active faith that they are excited
to share with your children.

What happens at BTB?

Groups are divided according to grade level. Directly after
school, groups gather outside where roll is taken and students
are accounted for. Then all groups proceed to the playground area
where they are provided with a snack and given time to play
outside. After play time, the groups return to their classrooms
and begin their activities for the day. All groups are in
activity time from 4 until 6, except 3-8 grade who have activity
time from 4 until 4:30 and then have homework time until 6.

How do I enroll my child in BTB?

There are several openings in 3-8 grade, and a few each in Pre-K
& K and 1st & 2nd. Registration forms and information sheets are
available in the front office. Along with the form, a $50
registration fee is required. After your child is registered, you
will receive a security number that must be presented when you
come to pick up your child from Beyond the Bell.

I only need afterschool care occasionally. Can I still use BTB?

Yes. When you register your child, you are given the option of
choosing how to do so. You may register as a "monthly" student or
a "drop-in" student. Monthly students are those who plan on
attending daily. Drop-in students attend on an "as needed" basis.
With our drop-in students, we request at least 24 hours advanced
notice of their attendance. This can be done by calling the front
office, by email, or by sending a note to school with your child
on the day before he or she will be attending.

How much does this program cost?

The complete fee schedule is available on the registration form.
The
monthly fee for one child is $150 and the drop-in fee for one
child is $10 per day. There are discounts for multiple children
in the same family.

When do I pay?

Monthly students have a set fee. Their BTB fees are paid at the
beginning of each month with their monthly tuition check. Those
students who are drop-ins are given an invoice at the beginning
of each month that summarizes their attendance during the
previous month. Drop-In payments can also be made in the same
check as tuition. Please DO NOT send your drop-in child to BTB
with a check or cash in hand to cover the cost of that day.

What happens during a Knights Out day?

KNIGHTS OUT Days:

Please check the calender for Knights Out days. They are usually held once a
month. We ask that you please provide a lunch for your child because the school
does not provide lunch on those days. This lunch must be Peanut-free. Pre-K students
will nap after they eat lunch and play for a bit, and the older students will get an
extended play time outside, followed by homework time, and then a movie.
