My name is Ginny Klute (formal name:Virginia). I have been teaching at
Tatum Ridge for 4 years and am excited about starting a wonderful fifth
year in 5th grade at Tatum under the great leadership of Sandra Russell. I
had previously taught at Brentwood Elementary for 20 years with Mrs. Russell
being principal the majority of my time there.
I love 5th graders because you are always so full of curiosity and are so
capable of learning in depth and you teach me so much, as you are learning.
Plus, I love working with you on becoming mature readers and writers, and
learning about your heritage and this great country and its history: the USA!
This year you will travel to two other teachers for Math (Mr. Lynch) and
Science (Ms Futornick). Mrs. Braunstein and I will each be teaching two
classes of Reading/Language Arts and Social Studies.
I love traveling, gardening, being a grandmother of two (Eli and Maddy),
playing tennis, and reading. My husband and I have an RV and enjoy camping
in wonderful natural areas where we can explore by hiking or biking. I have
two daughters: Katie and Carrie, who live in Sarasota,FL and
Jacksonville, FL, respectively. I hope to learn about your special interests
and hobbies, too, and would gladly invite parents or friends into the
classroom to share about your career or special interest.
I am looking forward to a wonderful, exciting year, getting to know you as
we learn together.
