Science Fair is fast approaching! I have been very pleased with the
Science folders and the progress of the projects. Most students have been
keeping to the time line and they are almost finished.
My students are doing an amazing job!
The last Science Fair question meeting will be this Monday, November 23
from 3:30-5:00 in the Media Center. If you or any Tatum family have questions
about Science Fair, please feel free to stop by. This session is being hosted
also by Mrs. Watt and Mrs. Futornick.
Science boards are in and are waiting to be picked up. Mrs. Ganley is
storing the boards right outside her Science lab room. Please stop by and
pick up your board.
Let me know if you have any questions. Remember, the due date for the
Science Fair projects is November 30 (Monday). That way we have 2 days to
present the projects before they are due in the Media Center on December 2
(Wednesday).

Tuesday, November 10th from 6:30-8:00, I will be in the Media Center
helping to answer any questions you may have about Science Fair. Mrs. Watt
and Mrs. Futornick will also be available that night to help answer questions.

I have been pleased with how my students have been keeping up with their
Science Fair dates. This week I am looking at Research Summary and Hypothesis
statements. The dates are set as a guideline to keep everyone on track.
Sometime this week, I should see all the folders and the completed sections.

The Science Fair packets went home with students last week. Along with the
packet was a sheet that listed a number of science projects that students can
look at for inspiration for their own project. Included in the packet was a
time line for the project. Please use this time line as a way to keep on track
with the project. The first deadline is this week. Give or take a few days,
please try to turn the project title in by the end of this week.
I am holding a school wide informational meeting on Tuesday, October 13
from 7-8pm. I will be holding another one 2 weeks later.
