About The Teacher
Welcome to the 4th grade Eagle Academy Class! I have been teaching in Sarasota County since 1989. My passion in life is teaching gifted and talented students. I make it my goal to get to know the unique and special talents of each of my students. I will be your child's biggest advocate and cheerleader this year. A few facts about me: I was born in London, England and have lived in 3 countries and 7 states. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Auburn University, a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from USF, and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from NOVA Southeastern University. I have a teaching certification in Gifted Education. My hobbies are traveling, reading, and spending time outdoors. I am married to a wonderful man named Allan and I have 2 incredible children. My daughter was married last year, so now our expanded family includes a new son, 2 dogs, and 3 cats! I look forward to learning all about you and your family over the next couple of months!
