The day began with our Book Character Parade. Everyone looked awesome in their costumes! It was so much fun walking around and having people look at our costumes. |

After the Book Character Parade, we had our own mini fall festival in the room. There were five different stations and a tasty treat activity. Savanna and Kylie balanced pumpkins on their heads during this relay. That took a lot of concentration, girls! |
There were prizes at each of the stations. Savanna, Sawyer, Troy, and Kylie show off the spider rings that they won at the relay race station. Watch out, guys! Those spiders look awfully real! Don't let them bite you!!!! |

During the week, we read the book Spookly the Square Pumpkin. Hallie and Kate were busy making their square pumpkins while Kylie's mom lent a hand. Wouldn't it be cool to see a square pumpkin in real life?!? |
This was a fun station! Michael, Hudson, and Robert made funny looking skeletons out of Q-tips. They looked just like the skeleton in the book that we read this week----Skeleton Hiccups! How many Q-tips did you have to use for each skeleton character? |

Everyone made funny looking pumpkins at this station. I know Ben's mom really liked helping at this station because the project used Gator colors! She kept calling it our Gator Pumpkins! Whatever the names of the pumpkins, I think that Kamryn and Skyy had fun creating their pumpkins. |
The last station was a beanbag throw. Hallie's mom had Hudson stand on one foot, look over his shoulder, and throw! That sure would be difficult!! I wonder if anyone rang the basket on such a hard throw? |

Our tasty treat of the day was a spider. Everyone had to carefully follow directions to correctly make the spider. Joey's spider looks too cute to eat! I wish REAL spiders were that cute---then I wouldn't be so scared of them!!! |
We all agreed that this was the best day yet! You can tell by our faces that we really enjoyed the morning---and the afternoon was fun, too! We had won the Domino's Pizza Night for having more orders placed from our room, so we had a pizza party at the end of the day. I've never seen kids put away so much pizza! All those activities must have built up big appetites! |
