Supply List 2009-2010

PERSONAL SUPPLIES FOR THE GARDEN KIDS ONLY
It is best to wait until Open House night to be sure your child is 
in The Garden before purchasing these materials.
No need to purchase a pencil box or bag. Mrs. Richardson 
has a "toolbox" for each student waiting to be filled with their 
supplies. 
Please avoid buying fuzzy pencils and cutesy erasers. Although fun, 
they can be distracting.
Fourth grade teachers will provide agenda books and homework folders 
for each child. 

6 sharpened #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils)
1 bottle of Elmer's white glue (4-5 oz. bottle is fine)
2 glue sticks
1 box of 24 crayons
1 hand held pencil sharpener with cover that holds the shavings
1 pair of scissors
1 smiling face
2 thick highlighters (any color)
1 package of colored pencils (12-24 is plenty)
10 pocket folders with prongs 2 yellow, 2 green, 2 red, 2 blue, 2 folder of your choice
1 positive attitude
1 one-inch, 3-ring view notebook (view sleeve in the front to insert a cover page into, any color)
1 backpack/bookbag without wheels
2 packages wide-ruled notebook paper
1 package of eraser caps
1 red pen
1 daily healthy snack which can be eaten within 10-15 minutes
1 marble cover composition book 7 1/2 X 9 3/4, 100 sheets wide-ruled
1 water bottle (please write name on this)
1 pair of computer headphones (optional)
COMMUNITY SUPPLIES - these items are much appreciated and will be shared among the class
girls - 1 roll of paper towels, 1 box of gallon-sized plastic bags
boys - 1 box of quart-sized plastic bags, 1 box of markers (thick or thin)
