Math Homework: Every lesson will have 2 pages of homework. A "Fact
Homework" page and a "Homework" page. Fact Homeowrk is general math facts
practice and is a timed exercise. The "Homework" page will be a mixture of
word problems and number sentences and practice exercises.
Students should read for 30 minutes each night as well. Occasionally, they
will have reading, science, or history text to read during that time. If
nothing is specifically assigned, the student may choose to read whatever
they'd like.
Planners: Please check and sign your child's planner each night. The
planner is my chief means of communication to and from home. A smiley face
next to my signature indicates a good day. I middle-face (straight line) was
an ok day but could've been better. A sad face indicated a bad day. I will
usually write a note to explain sad faces.
Children who do not get their planners signed will sit out for break that
day. Getting parental signing is part of their responsibility and homework.
