FIELD TRIP
Don't forget to send in permission slip and $3. On Monday, 1-11, we're going
to the Marina Civic Center to see the play, "Tales of a Fourth Grade
Nothing." A packed lunch is needed.

WELCOME
to Mrs. Gibbens who will be our paraprofessional every day during the reading
block. Mrs. Kline will be doing some math tutoring, too. We are so glad to
have extra help.

HOMEWORK
Please check your children's homework when they have finished. Help them
correct spelling mistakes. Help them start and end sentences correctly.
Fact sheets are to be timed, checked, and initialed.
FLASHCARDS
Each child needs these at home. If you can not buy them, tell me, and I
will. Rapid recall of addition and subtraction facts is necessary
for the work we're doing at this time.
SPELLING WORDS
are now listed on the Weekly Words page, and students write the words in
their planners every Friday. Assessments are on THURSDAYS.
