Classroom Expectations

Behavior Expectations

We are so busy during the day that we don’t have time to have behavior problems. J  I use a simple but effective method of behavior management. Our classroom rules are very simple and students have opportunities to correct their behavior before getting a practice card. You will be aware of your child’s inappropriate behavior by checking your child’s CAMP folder. You will know that they had a good day if there is NOT a note from me and your child.  If they had a bad day and need to practice a rule, you will find a detailed note for you to sign and return.
Classroom Expectations

Rule 1:Follow directions quickly.

Rule 2:Raise your hand to speak.

Rule 3:Respect others, yourself, and your school.

Rule 4:Make Smart Choices.

Rule 5:Keep your dear teacher happy.

Students who follow the rules all week will participate in a Fun Friday activity or get something from the treasure chest.

Students will also be awarded for good behavior DAILY. Students caught making good choices will recieve a 'caught ya' ticket to be placed in the can for a drawing at the end of the day. Words of encouragement and praise are given to students in LARGE doses each day. :)
