The Chapter 22 retake test will be taken on Monday, December 7th. We have
spent another extra week on this chapter to prepare to take this test. No
more time will be given to this chapter. We will commence to Chapter
23 teaching us Chemical Reactions. This should be challenging with more
study guides, however, shorter sections. This chapter requires more math
understanding than most of the others. Studying is required to pass science
tests. The amount of study time needed for each student will vary depending
on their understanding of the concepts. Parents, please monitor that your
child is taking the time that they need to review definitions and concepts.
All students are required to know the definitions from each chapter which are
kept in their notebooks. They must complete the chapter reviews, the study
guides and any labs that you are assigned for each chapter and turn them in
on the day of the test for that chapter. Completing these and turning them in
on time will enable the student to get the best grade possible. Late work is
accepted with a 25% late fee each week. The problem with late work it that
it does not help the student to learn the material prior to a test. So,
please turn in your work on time, get the study guides done when they should
be done and do not lose points for late work.
