Mission For The Class

Applied Communications/Intensive Reading/English1:

Our mission is to provide students with the opportunity to develop and apply 
reading, vocabulary and writing skills through guided, shared and 
independent reading.  Students will also develop competence in communication 
skills within the context of career, workplace and community.  Lastly, our 
mission is to provide instruction in critical thinking, emphasizing 
analysis, synthesis and evaluation of literature and short stories.
