Practice Logs are changing!!! They are now due EVERY Monday. Mr. Lochard
will be checking them and they MUSt be signed by your parent in order to get
full credit. Students are also being graded on how much time they
practice. The goal is still 15 minutes everyday. If a student practices AT
LEAST 1hr and 30 minutes for the entire week the can get an A (But the time
needs to be spread out over more than one day). A B is AT LEAST 1 hour and
15 minutes. A C is at least 1 hour for the week. A D is 4 at least 45
minutes for the week and an F is 30 minutes for the week or less.
The Band Room is open every day at 8:30 AM for students to put away their
instruments and/or practice. If your child chooses to practice in the band
room, I will sign their practice log for that day. Also, the band room is
open Mon.& Tues. afterschool from 3:30 - 4:30 PM and Wed. & Thurs. from
3:30-4:00 PM for student practicing. If your child chooses to practice in
the band room after school, I will sign their practice log for that day.
STUDENTS MUST BE PICKED Up Mon & Tues by 4:30/Wed & Thurs by 4:00.
