 My child plays a musical instrument.  How much practice time is suggested?
It is strongly suggested that at least 20 to 30 minutes per day be set aside 
for home practice of school related music and classroom homework.

 Should my child take private lessons on their instrument?
I highly recommend individual private lessons.  Class time for individual 
instruction is very limited due to the large number of students involved, 
therefore, progress will be much faster if private lessons from a qualified 
teacher are incoperated in the child's musical growth.

 How much practice should my child be doing at home?
Practice should be done for at least 1/2 hour daily in order to make 
reasonable progress.  Home practice is essential to becoming a successful 
musician.
