My name is Rodolfo Antonio Castillo. I am a native from Chile and a
fantastic trumpet player. I have been living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for
the past seven years. My wife and daughter will be joining me here in
Florida as soon as possible. I have enjoyed an extensive career as a musical
performer. For example, I have performed with the National Symphony
Orchestra of Chile and I have performed every genre of music from symphony
to mariachi. Needless to say music is a passion of mine and I hope to
instill this passion into the students in my class.
The mission for this class will be to fully understand the musical language
and to apply all of this knowledge into performance ensembles. My students
will develop a passion and love for music and they will really enjoy to be a
part of one of these ensembles. My goal is for these students to have fun
while also recognizing music as an important part of their curricular day.
