Here’s how it works:
1. Use the information below to access the Scholastic Book Clubs Web
site.
2. Browse the titles with your child and place your order with your
credit card.
3. Your order will come to me, and your credit card payment will go
directly to Scholastic’s secure server. There’s no need to send money to
school.
4. After I submit the entire class order to Scholastic, your order will
be delivered to our classroom for your child to take home.
To get started, go to the Web address below and enter our class’s
personalized user name and password in the sign-in fields on the right side
of the page. Note: You do not need to create your own user name and password.

Progress Reports were sent home today Thursday, September 24, 2009. Please
sign and return cover letter to your child’s first period teacher. Thank you.
We need your help! One of the incentives we offer to Dolphin students is
the Dolphin Lottery. Students have the opportunity each day to receive
Dolphin Lottery Tickets for various activities (helping teachers and
student, answer questions, extra credit work, etc.) You may have noticed
the blue slips of paper you child has collected. Students love recieving
the lottery tickets but have loved the prizes they can recieve even more!
On Fridays we collect those tickets and have a drawing for prizes at
lunchtime. The prizes are usually something purchased for under $1.00. We
could really use either more prize donations or donations of money so we can
purchase more prizes. Feel free to send them in with you child and
designate them as Dolphin Lottery prizes. Students can turn them in to
Ms. VanderLaan or their first period teacher at any time.
