Gnu Announcements

We are hoping that students will want to go to Busch Gardens for Physics Day.

The team has extended the deadline for permission slips to Monday, November 10th.
We will then make the decision if there is enough interest and if we will be able to go or not.

The Gnu Team is hoping to go to Busch Gardens in Tampa for a Physics Day on Friday, December 5th, 2008. Mr. Powell is coordinating the field trip permission forms. We are looking for students and chaperpnes that would plan to go. Please respond with your permission field trip form ASAP. The number of students choosing to participate will determine whether we move forward or not with this field trip.  

House of Poe is Friday, October 31.
Our House of Poe cast and crew have been working hard to  bring the 6th graders a wonderful "Poe Experience".

FCAT Explorer is now up and running and ready for your students to practice FCAT questions.

Students will log on with their "N" number which is in their agenda book on about page 17. It is the number they use to log onto the SMS computers. An N and then 6 digits

Password is their 5 digit pin number.

Once logged in they may choose a subject to test in.
If they want to change to a different subject it will require that they log out and then log back in again.

Please send in any general supplies the first week of school.
Supplies such as the 200 sheets of paper should be kept at home for replenishing
the binders and folders as needed throughout the year.
