What should I do if there is nothing written in the agenda?

Every teacher has an assignment or announcement that should be
written in
the agenda each day. When a parent consistently sees blank
spaces, the
parent should sit down and question the child. Please, check
the nightly
homework assignment calendar which is available on-line.

Why are my child's grades lower than expected?

7th grade is a challenging year. Usually low grades are an
indication of missing or incomplete work or not studying for
tests. Printed progress reports are available weekly upon
STUDENT REQUEST. While happily provided by the teachers, please
understand this is your CHILD'S RESPONSIBILITY to ask for these
updates.

What do I do if my child's teacher calls?

Teachers call parents because they care about their students and
they need the parents' help to provide the best education for
the students. Hopefully, everything can be handled by phone,
but a conference may be necessary. Our preferred conference time
due to our expanded teaching schedule this year is from 1:15-
1:35. Before and after school conferences are difficult due to
the expanded prep time and personal obligations. Thanks for
your patience and understanding.
