REMINDER: The second Book Report and Project are due this Monday, December 14, 2009.
I have been reminding students daily and offering suggestions, help and materials for the project. Remember… this is the POETRY FAIR PROJECT-there are three parts to the project-
1) the written or typed 1 paragraph summary:
(must include why they chose the poem, what they like best about it, as well as
other interesting information about thier poem)
2) the posterboard project : (must include the handwritten poem as well as pictures
that relate to and illustrate their poem)
3) student presentation of the memorized poem (please practice with your child!)
I am looking forward to seeing the students’ projects on Monday! Thanks!

a summary of the plot with the problem/solution)
2) the project of student’s choice (from the list of 3)

Parents -- Please look for your child's Orange Take Home folder EVERY NIGHT!
They are to be reading for 20 minutes each night and recording it in their Reading Logs.
It MUST be initialed by YOU for them to get credit. This is an easy way to boost their
weekly grade AND improve their reading skills! Please support your child's efforts!
