Welcome new and returning families to a new year at Abbotts Hill! We are very excited to serve as your PTA Co-Presidents this year and are thrilled to continue working with you in enriching the lives of our children. The PTA provides our students with educational experiences and fun activities. We are constantly seeking new ideas and researching ways to maintain the high level of excellence in our school. We do this with the help of everyone who becomes a member of our PTA so if you have not done so please join now! The PTA also provides volunteers for every need expressed by our teachers and administration, therefore we invite each of you to join a committee and be involved at your child’s school.
This year we have many exciting events to look forward to, such as our popular Family Fun Nights, Book Fairs, Carnival, 5th Grade Week, and Staff Appreciation Week, just to name a few. We also will continue to fund countless academic programs which directly help enrich the lives of our children. We provide this support through the generous donations of Abbotts Hill families, business partners and community grants. Operation Support Our Students (S.O.S.) will once again be our primary fund raiser this year so we will need your support and commitment. Look for more details about Operation S.O.S. soon!
We are also very proud to announce that we will continue with our Green School initiatives, helping us create a model green school for our community, county, and state. This is a huge and important project that will require countless volunteer hours. More information on our Green School initiatives will come soon!
