Second Grade Guidance lessons at Addison are based upon the American School Counseling Association curriculum. Three main topics are covered each year through the lessons. The topics are the following: Academic, Career, and Personal and Social Development. The essential questions that are covered each year in the second grade curriculum are:

• How do I make good decisions?
• Who is a stranger?
