Third grade is a year of transitions. A challenging
curriculum faces your third grader. New concepts such as multiplication, using
reference materials, reading to learn (instead of learning to read), writing
assessments, higher level thinking in all areas, and the CRCT are just a few
of those challenges they will face this year. Third grade guidance lessons
address some of these concerns. The essential questions for third grade are:
-
What is responsibility?
-
What are consequences, decisions, and choices?
-
What is a problem?
-
What is empathy?
-
What are ways to solve problems?
-
What is communication?
