Each nine weeks ten fifth graders are selected to be members of the Addison
Safety Patrol. These students are recommended by their teachers based on
the following criteria:
Demonstrates good citizenship
Has regular, prompt attendance
Is in good academic standing
Follows school rules without reminders
Exhibits good decision-making skills
Displays dependability, consideration, honesty, and trustworthiness
Shows respect for others
Addison's Safety Patrol assist students and teachers during morning arrival
time. They are in charge of raising and lowering the flags each day.
