Reading numerous novels during the summer break absolutely helps students academically in the year ahead.

CP Students:
This summer we expect all incoming ninth graders to read at least TWO books. Each student may choose books that he/she finds interesting and that are appropriate for his/her reading level. After all, reading should be an enjoyable activity.

HONORS:
Your assignment is to read a minimum of FOUR books, one being non-fiction.
