Bienvenue dans la classe de francais!
I am excited to be teaching French at Autrey Mill. I was born in France and
grew up in Virginia. Even though we were not in France, my mother kept the
culture evident on our upbringing. I spoke French with my mother and English
with my father as a child. I spent many summer and Christmas vacations in
France as my father worked the middle east most of my school years. France
was our half way point. My family in France is mainly from the Aquitaine
region. After high school, I spent a year in Bordeaux and attended
L'universite de Bordeaux. It was a wonderful experience and only made me
love France and her language more. I attended Georgia State University where
I earned a BA in French. I just came back from France at the end of July. I
spent 10 days traveling around by car. We ventured from Paris to the Cote
d'Azur via the Massif Central and then back to Paris.
I am married and have two daughters, Danielle and Chloe. I live in East
Cobb.
Students will learn French and realize the benefit of a secod language!
