Hi! My name is Jelynn Horne. I have lived in the Columbus/Opelika area for eleven years. I have been married to my husband, Jody for 6 1/2 years. I am a mom to a precious baby boy named Austin. This is my tenth year at Britt David Magnet Academy (two years in First Grade and eight in Second) and I consider myself very fortunate. Teaching second grade has been both a challenge and a joy, and I would not trade what I do for anything. I have a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I realize that teaching is a privilege, as well as a tremendous responsibility and always try to do my best to ensure that each student has a motivating and safe learning experience in the classroom. My hobbies are scrapbooking, photography, and reading.
