Monday: Write words 5 times each or more.
Tuesday: Match the words.
Wednesday: Select the mixed up words. Practice for Pre-Test on Thursday.
Thursday: Take the spelling test. (If your child does not make 100%, We re-
take it on Friday). Most make 100% on Thursday:) St. Elmo Students takes
test at 8:45-9:00 before they leave or 2:45-3:00 when they return.
Friday: PRACTICE WRITING SENTENCES WITH EACH WORD because we write sentences
in our journals. RETAKE TEST IF YOU DID NOT MAKE 100% or take it on THURSDAY.

PRACTICE WRITING SENTENCES WITH CAPITALS AND PUNCTUATION, ALPHABET,NUMBERS,
NAME. We grade handwriting.
PRACTICE counting and adding pennies, NICKELS,DIMES, AND QUARTERS. We need
to write the receipt at our Grocery Store in the classroom.

PEASE SIGN AND RETURN THE BLUE REPORT CARDS (MCSD) AND WHITE ENVELOPES. YOU
CAN KEEP BRITT DAVID KINDERGARTEN REPORT CARD (WHITE PAPER). This paper is
more specific to our curriculum that is required to be ready for First Grade
at Britt David. Your child will be tested by First Grade Teachers at the end
of the year if Reading level is not 1.5.
SIGHT WORDS: Please read 220 sight words from your packet I gave
you at open house. Look on the MEDIA CENTER website for the complete list
including Pre-Primer, Primer, First grade, Second grade and Third grade
levels. We will use these for spelling test.I sent the packet home at the
beginning of school.
WRITING: Practice writing your first AND LAST name, alphabet and numbers to
100. Practice writing words and 3 sentences to tell a story. Use capitals
and punctution.
COMPUTER: Place fingers on home keys. Say asdf and jkl; See if you can
see "gh" and thumbs on space bar. THIS IS A COMPUTER MAGNET SCHOOL.!!!
THIS IS IMPORTANT. We SHOULD BE COMPLETING KIDKEYS LEVEL 2 (HAND COVERED) BY
THE END OF DECEMBER.
