My name is Waverley Parkerson. I am 28 years old and a 2nd grade teacher
at Britt David. I have been married for 7 years to my FABULOUS husband
Michael. I have a daughter, Reese, who is 5 and a son, Brooks, who is 4. I
am also the proud "Mommy" of a Yorkie named "Sadie". I have a younger
brother that lives in Phenix City and a sister that lives in LaGrange,
Georgia. I love spending time with my family. They are the ones that I thank
for instilling in me the values that I possess today. They are my heroes.
I love teaching. I love my job and I love what I do. There is no greater
gift in this world than knowing that I am molding and shaping our leaders of
tomorrow. They are all such wonderful kids and I am so thankful that I have
been given the chance to get to know each of them and their families. It is
because of each of you that I love coming to work each day. You are all
WONDERFUL! Thank you for the support and for all that you do to help make
your children's educational experience a great one!
My overall mission for this class is for each and every student to associate
success with every aspect of the curriculum. I will strive to be consistent
and to keep it creative and new. I want each child to leave this class with
confidence in themselves. My goal is for each students to truely love
knowledge and to become lifelong learners.
