I have always wanted to be a teacher,for as long as I can remember.
When I was a child, like many of you,I loved playing school. I almost
always landed the teaching position. My school play was different because
as I grew older I still had a yearning to teach, but everybody was too old
to play school.
I decided that I had to teach. I attened CSU a few years ago(smile). There
I was worked very hard. The hard work prepared me to meet the call of
working with some of the best students in the world. I have truly enjoyed
working with them. I have had such a rewarding career.
I have completed thirty years of doing nothing but teaching. Teaching has
been my life. If I could start all over again, I would still choose to be
just who I am ( a teacher).
My mission for the class is to make sure each student shows an academic gain.
I do this by using different teaching strategies. I also hold the belief
that each student learns at a different pace. In knowing this, I work until
each student has mastered the objectives that are taught.I will not leave
any of my students behind. They will never fall between the cracks.
