I have a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education with fourteen
years teaching experience. I have taught First grade, Second grade, and Fifth
grade.I have also been teaching at Britt David Magnet Academy for six
years.
I received the Teacher Of The Year award from my peers at Brewer
Elementary in 2000. I am a certified mentor in the Teacher Support
Specialist Program with MCSD. I am also the President of Delta Kappa
Gamma Society, Beta Xi Chapter for professional women educators. I have
accepted and have been elected President for an additional two year term as
I serve my 4th year.
Every child is capable of learning given a safe and stimulating environment,
tools to learn with and the opportunity to do so by a positive and motivated
facilitator.
