About The Teacher

I have been teaching kindergarten for 18 years.  I taught 11 years at 
Muscogee Elementary, one year at River Road Elementary and now I am here  
at Britt David Magnet Academy.  I love seeing the expression on 
children's faces when they have learned something new.  

I have a terrific husband and two wonderful children.

I enjoy reading all kinds of books especially historical fiction. I also 
enjoy horseback riding, hiking, riding bicycles and traveling. 

I have a Bachelor of Science from Columbus College, a Masters and 
Specialist degree in Elementary Education from Troy State.

To help the children develop a love of learning and to see themselves as 
wonderful, unique individuals that can help each other learn and grow.
