| We have homework Monday through Thursday. We will have Phonics homework
every night unless we have an assessment that day. We will also have math
homework each night. It will reinforce what we have done in class that
day. Spelling words and the Reading/Vocabularty words will be on the
website usually by Friday night for the following week. Spelling test and
Vocabulary tests are on Friday each week.
When we are at the end of a Science or Social Studies Unit,I will send a
note to let you know when the test is, and for your permission to have your
child bring their books home.
There is no homework on Fridays except reading. Students
will be reminded to take their AR Books home to read over the weekend.
Working with your child a little each night on the things they are learning
in class each week will help them in their learning.
