About The Teacher

Hello! I'm Debby Reynolds.

Meet My Family
My husband, Ricky and I have been married for fourteen years. He is disabled
and has several health problems. I have two children. My son,
Benji is 29 years old, married to Randi, works at Colony Cargo and has a
three year old daughter, Gracie and an eight month old baby boy named Kaine.

My 26 year old daughter, Mandy, has two sons - Jace (5) and Drew (3). Jace
and Drew live with me so when I'm not at school, I'm usually very busy with
two little boys! Being a "Nana" is one of my favorite things in life.

My Career
I teach sixth grade mathematics at Ben Hill County Middle School in
Fitzgerald, Georgia. In my 28 years of teaching I have taught all subjects
and taught in grades two through eight. I earned my Bachelor's degree in
Education from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia. I earned both
my Master's and Specialist's degrees in middle grades education at Georgia
Southwestern University in Americus, Georgia. In 2003 I achieved
National Board Certification in the area of Mathematics and I graduated in
2008 from Argosy University in Sarasota, Florida with a doctorial degree in
Instructional Leadership. In 2008, I also attended Valdosta State
University and completed a "gifted education" endorsement.

My Interests
I delight in being outdoors especially if it involves gardening or fishing.
I have several collections including coins, Dickens Village houses, teapots,
and birdhouses just to name a few. I like painting, wallpapering, and
redoing my house. I enjoy my church and spend a lot of time with my fellow
