Word Problems of the Week
Each week, this page will be updated with new word problems for students in grades 1st - 5th. Students may enter one answer each week in a box in the office. Students in younger grades may also submit an answer to word problems from upper grade levels.
BE SURE TO SHOW YOUR WORK!
All answers must be submitted in the office by 2:00 PM on Thursday of each week. On the Friday morning announcements, a drawing will be held from the correct answers that were submitted during the week. One student from each grade's submissions, 1st - 5th, will be drawn each week, and the winners will receive an ice cream from the cafeteria. Be sure to include your first and last name along with your teacher's name on your answer submission.
Please use a half sheet of paper when turning in your answers;
it makes it easier to have the drawing on Fridays!
