11th graders should
 
In the FALL
1. Update your High School Planner
2. Use the Planner Comparison to weigh your academic record against college entrance
    requirements on GAcollege411.
3. Discuss graduation requirements and college admission requirements with your counselor.
4. Attend college fairs and financial aid workshops.
5. Take the SAT and/or the ACT.
 
In the SPRING
1. Take campus tours online or in person.  Use GA Colleges on GAcollege411.
2. Narrow your list to 3-4 colleges you are interested in.
3. Research scholarships, loans, and grants in "Paying for College" on GAcollege411
    and other web sites.
4. Talk with coaches about eligibility for college sports.
