Mission Of The Department

The mission of Chattahoochee County High School Counseling and Guidance 
program is to provide support for student achievement as part of 
comprehensive guidance for all students. Counselors work in partnership with 
parents, teachers, administration, and community to help facilitate student 
development in education, social, personal, and career domains. Counseling 
services shall be provided in a safe and positive environment with a focus on 
promoting responsible, productive citizenship and academic achievement to 
support a successful transition from school to work. 

This mission is accomplished through: 
1. CCHS Teachers as Advisors program
2. www.gafutures.org, and www.gcic.peachnet.edu
