Current Scholarships come into the counselors office on a daily, weekly, or
monthly basis. Please check the deadlines for scholarships you are
interested in.

Prudential Spirit of Community Award -
If you have made a difference in your community over the past
year you could win $1000.00 amd a trip to Washington, D C. Just
visit the web site, Click on "How to Apply" link, and follow the
onscreen instuctions. When asked for the access key, type the
word spirit. Once the form has been completed online, it must be
printed out, signed and submitted to your principal by November
2, 2009. Principals must submit their nominee by November 9,
2009. That student will receive the President's Volunteer Service
Award and will be eligible to win $1000.00 and a trip to
Washington, DC.
Spirit of Community Award
Sumter Electric Membership Corporation
$1000.00 scholarship available. Deadline to submit an
application Jan. 15, 2010.
Criteria for scholarship:
1. You must live in one of the following counties:
Chahoochee, Dougherty, Lee, Marion, Quitman, Randolph, Schley,
Stewart, Sumter, Terrell, or Webster.
2. Financial need and academic ability will be used to determine
winners.
3. Scholarships may by used at a 2 or 4 year college or
university.
4. Use the web site below or pick up an application in the
counselors office.

and Women Interested in Studying Architecture.

Requirements:
1. Legal resident of Georgia
2. Eligible for federal student financial aid.
3. Less than $33,000 in total family income
4. Submit a complete financial aid application each year.

Georgia Tech Scholarship
2010 Educational Enrichment Program - May 29-July 16 -
Medical
College of Georgia in Augusta, GA
1. Summer academic enrichment program for outstanding high
school students or college-bound high school graduates.
2. Must be a junior or senior.
3. This is a 7 week program May 29 - July 16, 2010.
4. Each student receives a stipend of $1016 to cover living
expenses and books.
5. All students who make a "B" in the program will receive a
$200.00 stipend.
